The original tombstone for Elizabeth Jane Gibson Bryan became broken and was replaced at a later date by a family member and recorded her death as 1889. Later her exact and correct death of 6/5/1890 was dicovered at The Pike County Court House in a "Register of Deaths 1880-1892". This information was brought to light by John P. Johnston of Brundidge, AL. Therefore there is a difference in date of death here than is on her tombstone.
